Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026. MaxProfilePic is operated by MaxGioDigital. We designed the service so your selected profile photo is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers.

Information we process

We may process basic technical and transaction information needed to operate the site, prevent abuse, verify a purchase, provide support, and understand aggregate product usage. This can include session identifiers, event type, time, checkout status, and limited technical request data normally received by a web server.

Your image

The photo you select is decoded and edited locally by your browser. MaxProfilePic does not intentionally transmit, store, sell, train on, perform facial recognition on, or build biometric profiles from your photo. To enforce one photo per purchase, the browser may send a one-way SHA-256 fingerprint of the selected image file to the active purchase session; the photo itself is not sent, and the fingerprint is used only to check whether the same image is being reused during that unlocked session. Reloading or closing the page clears the working image.

Payments

Checkout is provided by an independent payment platform. Payment details are entered with that provider and are not stored by MaxProfilePic. We may receive purchase-verification information necessary to unlock your package.

Analytics

We record limited first-party product events such as builder use, checkout clicks, successful unlocks, downloads, support clicks, and links to our related tools. Event metadata is deliberately restricted and does not include uploaded image content.

Cookies and local storage

We use a secure session cookie required for CSRF protection, rate limiting, purchase unlocking, and normal application operation. We do not require advertising or cross-site tracking cookies to create a package.

Retention and security

Purchase-verification hashes and operational event records may be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, security, and service improvement. We use access controls, TLS, restrictive browser security headers, and server-side validation, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links

The site links to MaxLI, AI Job Meter, the payment provider, and may link to professional networks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your choices

You may stop using the service at any time. For privacy questions or requests relating to information MaxGioDigital actually holds, use the Support link. We may need to retain information required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

Children

MaxProfilePic is intended for adults and older teens using professional-profile services. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

Users may access the service worldwide. By using the site, you understand that operational information may be processed in jurisdictions where MaxGioDigital or its service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material revisions will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
